If you are a teen, curious of your sexuality but
think you are alone in your feelings, you're not. Having problems dealing with the issues of your sexuality? Your not
alone, most likely there is another youth going through the same issues, dealing with the same feelings...OYA is the place
for you. Do you want to be a part of your community, have fun raising money for other organizations and causes
while enlightening the community to TEAM OYA, then this is the group for you.
FUND RAISERS
Car Washes: One car wash each
month will ensure that our general fund stays high, and should cover the cost of most monthly events, so there are no out
of pocket expenses for events and outings. Also, a percentage off all funds raised will go into the OYA Savings account
for Gay Day’s admission for all members.
Fund Raisers: Many Local business are interested
in having benefits for OYA, and we are working on an schedule with Local business that cater to GLBT for raising funds for
the youth of Orlando.
PROACTIVE
The single most important issue for this group is to be pro-active in the community, a schedule
of events where OYA as a group can participate in raising funds for other organizations not only reinforces that this organization
is pro-active, but gives us an opportunity to touch new people and members.
COST
There is no cost to being a member of OYA, through fundraisers, corporate donations, and events, OYA raises funds for
general operating costs, marketing, and events.
